Polls: Gay Marriage & Relationships

  1. The percentage of people who accept gay couples has greatly increased over the years to the point where a majority of a people do not have a problem with it. However, the chart picture below shows that the majority of people actually do not support gay marriage. This evidence and the American population, in general, is very contradicting. It is okay for them to accept gays as couples, but they do not want them to makes their commit into a legal binding. This doesn’t make any sense. It shows that people have a problem with the definition of marriage, and do not believe it should be changed. I think this is why it is so unclear and is still not able to become legal.
